ERC Consolidator grant
Researchers of any nationality with 7-12 years of experience since completion of PhD (Extensions are possible under certain circumstances — see the latest ERC Work Programme), a scientific track record showing great promise and an excellent research proposal.
ERC Consolidator Grant has a deadline on 2 February 2023, and a possibility of support from the Research Support Office if you sign up by 28 November.

Horizon Europe Cluster 6 Work programme 2023-2024
Please find the final draft on Horizon Europe Cluster 6 – Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment work programme 2023-24. Although this draft still has to be accepted by the commission this is to be considered practically final.

Up to DKK 50.000 for EU partner, and DKK 75.000 for coordinator project applications. You can apply for part-funding of salaries, travel expenses and external assistance.

Green Development and Demonstration Programme (GUDP) has opened -
Deadline for submission is 28 februar 2023
A total funding of up to 90 million DKK is available. Development and/or demonstration projects can apply between 250.000 -15 million DKK.

Villum Experiment - Deadline for submission 15 March 2023
Villum Experiment supports unorthodox ideas in their early phase. The grant is created for those research projects out of the ordinary that challenge the norm and have the potential to change fundamentally the way we approach important topics. The applicant is anonymous to the reviewers.
You can apply for up to DKK 2 million, incl. 15% for indirect costs. The grant can cover project-related costs such as salary, equipment, travel and running expenses.
The time frame for the grant is up to 2 years.
AgriFoodTure partnership - Call 2 for pool 2 projects
Like in 2022 the call is governed using the Grand Solutions rules and guidelines
Deadline for submission is 17 April 2023.
As before, the calling for project applications will be within all five tracks of the published AgiFoodTure-roadmap:
1. Land use and management
2. Animal-based food production
3. Plant-based food production
4. Biotech-based food production & alternative protein sources
5. Cross-cutting aspects
The budget of the call is DKK 75 million and the investment per project is from DKK 3 million to DKK 15 million.
The project period can last a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 4 years.
Within this specific call, the wish is to see larger projects that has potential for substantial impact on the mission goals towards 2030.
