Join our Mentor program for postdocs
Last year, we launched a pilot mentoring program for postdocs. The program was very well received, and our postdocs have expressed a strong interest in seeing it continue.
Would you like to be a mentor?
As a senior VIP, you make valuable difference by providing general advice, share your experience, and offer an outside perspective on topics related to an academic career and professional development.
If you would like to volunteer as a mentor for a post, we encourage you to contact Karina (kch@agro.au.dk) or Trine (trine.tinggaard@agro.au.dk) if you are interested in being a mentor.
Please note that this year we are inviting Tenure Tracks as well as we would like to have mentors from the entire senior level.
Are you a postdoc looking for a mentor?
The program gives you the opportunity to be matched with a senior academic colleague from another section. Your mentor can provide general advice, share their experience, and offer an outside perspective on topics related to your academic career and professional development.
Please be aware that the mentor cannot give you specific career advice or guarantees.
As a mentee, you will be responsible for scheduling the meetings and setting the agenda. There is no fixed meeting frequency; you and your mentor will agree on a schedule that works for both of you.
