Join us in communicating research in the AU tent at Klimafolkemødet

Help communicate AGRO’s research through hands-on activities to a broad public audience.

AGRO is once again organising Aarhus University’s tent at Klimafolkemødet in Middelfart on 27–29 August. The tent is organised in collaboration with several other AU departments, and we are looking for colleagues from across AGRO who would like to contribute to the activities in the AU tent.

The aim is to present AGRO’s research in an accessible, concrete and hands-on way to visitors. The audience is broad and includes high school students, university students, families, organisations, companies and politicians.

We would like to make the AU tent lively and relevant by showing examples of research, technologies, materials and activities that visitors can see, try or talk with us about. This could, for example, be small demonstrations, field samples, visual material or other concrete examples from the research.

There will already be some hands-on elements in the tent, including root boxes, the agrivoltaics VR setup and a stereomicroscope. You are also very welcome to bring your own material.

You do not need to participate for the full event. We are currently looking for colleagues with activities for the following time slots:

Thursday, 27 August: 10:00–12:00 or 12:00–14:00
Friday, 28 August: 14:00–16:00 or 16:00–18:00
Possibly Saturday, 29 August: 10:00–12:30

It is completely fine if you only speak English.

If you would like to contribute, please contact Anne Sofie Nielsen or Jonathan Torp Henschel.
