AGRO employees are active on the social front
Fitness, parties and talks are just some of the activities that the staff clubs in Foulum and Flakkebjerg offer staff. AGRO employees make a big contribution.
Getting a wide range of activities off the ground is not something that happens by itself. You need enthusiasts that not only have the desire to do some good for their colleagues but are also willing to spend time on it. AGRO has this type of employees.
AGRO has three of the eleven seats in the steering committee of Staff Club Foulum. They are Anders Lindblad Vendelboe, KLIMA, Malene Jakobsen, SYSTEM, and Jonas Velin, KLIMA.
The latest example of an activity that the staff club has been engaged in is the well-run (literally!) 24-hour run in Viborg, where not least Malene Jakobsen and Anders Vendelboe put in a huge effort to organise. They also ran well on the actual day. Read more and see photos from the day here.
Anders Vendelboe does not suffice with exercise for his own benefit. He also works hard at keeping his colleagues in Foulum in good shape. He leads a fitness class with interval training once a week in the common house F32. Anders is also the webmaster of the Staff Club Foulum website.
Foulum's International Club is an integral part of the staff club and is responsible for many of its own activities, that aim to bring Danish and foreign staff together. Among the activities are the popular Weekend Retreat and annual International Evening.
AGRO is also very active in the International Club with five seats in the eight-person strong steering committee. They are Marcos Paradelo Pérez, JORD, Nina Høj Christiansen, JORNÆR, Peter Bilson Obour, JORD, Emmanuel Arthur, JORD, and Jesper Overgård Lehmann, SYSTEM. You can read more about the International Club here.
Flakkebjerg also has a very active staff club with Jette Broeng Ohrt as chairman. The club offers activities that range from mushroom hunting, salsa and fishing to wine tasting, Christmas bingo and massage.
