AGRO strongly represented at the 2018 crop congress
The research topics that AGRO deals with are a hit with the participants at the 2018 crop congress. We are present with talks and an exhibition.
Nitrogen, phosphorous, aquatic environment, catch crops, crop protection, drainage, regulation – these are topics that researchers from AGRO deal with and which are highly topical at the crop congress "Plantekongres 2018" in Herning, to be held January 16-17, 2018. Among the 10 most popular sessions at the crop congress are the following - and they all hit the bullseye in AGRO’s flagship areas:
- Fact or fiction about nitrogen in agriculture and the aquatic environment
- Background for the reduction goals in the river basin management plans
- News from trials regarding protection against pests and diseases
- The targeted regulation of nitrogen use
- Microorganisms with internal and external benefits to plants
- Catch crops in the crop rotation
- Status for the implementation of the Water Framework Directive in Member States
- Importance of good drainage
- Conclusions of the international evaluation of the Danish marine models
- Regulation of phosphorous use
A significant part of AGRO’s research deals with developing technological solutions within the above-mentioned areas. This most often takes place in collaboration with the industry and international partners. Eleven of the projects that AGRO is involved in will be shown at the crop congress with the aid of rollups. The projects in question are:
- Future Cropping
- IWMPRAISE
- CloverSense
- SmartGrass
- NewCut
- RECARE
- RowCrop
- SOILCARE
- CarbonFarm
- Commit
- RoboWeedMaPS
