Apply for international network activities
The Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation has published the eighth call for the International Network Programme. Funding can be given to international network activities with research perspective.
The 8th International Network Programme under the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation (Ministry of Higher Education and Science) is now open to researchers who wish to commence networking activities with research environments in the USA, South Korea, Japan, Brazil, Israel, China, India, South Africa and Turkey.
In previous years, AU and AGRO have won a number of these calls, with activities – particularly with China, Brazil and India – leading to sound research collaboration. Up to DKK 200.000 may be spent on:
· Scientific workshops and conferences with participation of researchers, scientists, research experts and PhD students from Denmark and from one or more of the selected countries
· Travel between Denmark and the selected countries in order to identify potential for new collaborative projects and partnerships.
Deadline is 24 August 2016. Applications are fairly straightforward. The chances of useful outcomes - chiefly research applications and research collaboration – are enhanced if a structured matchmaking approach is followed. I have experience with both applications and with implementation. You are most welcome to contact me in this regard at torsten.berg@agro.au.dk.
