WPA Reporting 2025 and the next steps

Dear all - thank you very much for your participation in the 2025 Workplace Assessment (WPA). We achieved a response rate of 89%, which is a fantastic result and gives us a solid foundation to continue improving our work environment.

The WPA reports are being published today, so please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the results—both at the department level and within your own section/unit. You can access the reports via AU’s WPA portal, available through the WPA website.

What happens next?
The department management team, in collaboration with the Liaison and Occupational Health and Safety Committees (LSU and LAMU), will now organise a process to take a closer look at the results. Meetings have already been scheduled for this spring, and all staff will be kept informed along the way.

Based on these discussions, concrete action plans will be developed and followed up in both the committees and the management team. A joint meeting between LSU and LAMU is planned for 27 June 2025, where we will, among other things, follow up on the WPA process, the resulting action plans, and the ongoing attention to workplace wellbeing.

You are helping to strengthen our collaborative culture
The WPA process creates a shared platform for dialogue across the department. Because you have helped identify and highlight the areas we need to focus on together, the promised cake for everyone will be served in the coming weeks. Details will be communicated locally at each location.

On behalf of the department management team,
Jørgen E. Olesen
