Call for lecturers: AU Gymnasie Livestreams – Autumn 2026

Would you like to help inspire the next generation of university students? Aarhus University is currently seeking lecturers for the Danish gymnasier taking place in autumn 2026. These are live-streamed lectures designed for upper secondary school students and broadcast directly to classrooms across Denmark.

We invite researchers and lecturers to express their interest in delivering an engaging and academically strong talk for this audience.

We are looking for lecturers who:

  • Enjoy communicating their research to a younger audience

  • Can present a topic that sparks curiosity and engagement

  • Are interested in increasing awareness of study programmes and subject areas where recruitment could benefit from greater visibility

At this stage, we only ask you to indicate your interest and provide a broad topic for your lecture. You will be contacted later with further details regarding format, scheduling, etc.

Typically, 1–2 lecturers from TECH are selected each semester, but we welcome a larger pool of candidates to ensure flexibility and a broad academic representation.

👉 Please submit your interest by 18 February to Anne Mette Mikkelsen, annem@au.dk.
