Compulsory Review Process DFF Thematic Call

The department leadership has decided that all applications for the DFF Thematic Call with deadline June 11 must be reviewed internally, by a review team consisting of experienced researchers from all AGRO sections.

Jørgen will only approve projects that have been reviewed. The process and the principles are as follows:

  • During the period from 18 May– 2 June, please send the following three documents (Word files) to Torsten (torsten.berg@agro.au.dk):
    • (i) Project description
    • (ii) CV of main applicant with publications
    • (iii) a filled-in cover sheet with information on the budget, staffing etc. attached
  •  The application (project description, CV with publications and the cover sheet) will be forwarded to two reviewers for review of scientific quality, applicant’s qualifications and feasibility. To the extent possible, reviewers will represent different AGRO sections than that of the applicant, and be specialized in different topics than that of the application. This reflects the situation in the DFF evaluation panel, where evaluators are also not specialists.
  •  Applicants will receive feedback within a maximum of five working days, communicated directly to the applicant from the reviewers.

Please do not wait until the last minute to have your application reviewed. Please also keep in mind that for this call, co-financing is not required and will generally not be granted.

Following the review and at least three days prior to the submission deadline, applicants are requested to send the filled-in cover sheet and the sheet for signature by head of department to Birgit (langvad@agro.au.dk).
