Now you have the opportunity to refine your communication skills. In a new initiative, the 'DCA Science Communications Course 2023,' employees at AU Viborg are invited to participate in a course that focuses on making complex science understandable for a broader audience.
Build a bridge between research and the public
Researchers often face the challenge of conveying their important findings to both the public and the private sector. This course aims to address this challenge by equipping researchers with valuable skills to communicate effectively and engagingly.
Content and topics
The course will include:
- In-depth understanding of target audiences.
- Handling media and crisis management.
- Practical tips and tricks for writing articles.
- An introduction to social media with a focus on benefits and risks.
Practical details
The course will take place at AU Viborg, and a detailed program overview will be provided later. The date is set for Thursday, December 14th, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The course will be conducted in English.
