The new personal websites are ready for editing
In the autumn, you were all informed about the launch of a new design for AU’s personal websites. Lead on the project, AU IT, has now given the go-ahead for us to access and edit the new personal staff websites.
Personal staff webpages help to showcase our activities – as a university and as individuals – to the world around us, and they help to create transparency about the many different ways we are conducting research, teaching, fulfilling our mission, and contributing to society.
For that reason, staff are now required to complete a short profile text and to include information about their job responsibilities.
As a general rule, staff are also required to include a photo, an email address and a work telephone number on their staff page. If there are reasons why your contact details may not be displayed, please clarify this with your immediate supervisor.
AU IT has also prepared a guide on how to edit your personal website with Quick Editor. It is attached or can be found on-line: https://medarbejdere.au.dk/en/pure/user-guides/profile-and-homepage/quick-editor
The guide includes a few comments on the connectivity with Pure. It is important to note that the new websites only present a subset of the content that is registered in Pure. You can read more about the differences between the personal website and the Pure profile.
If you have any questions regarding the new personal websites, please do not hesitate to contact me or your immediate supervisor.
