Jordbundens dag 2025: Healthy soils for healthy cities
The importance of maintaining healthy, living, and fertile agricultural soils—benefiting both farmers and society—is marked internationally each year on 5 December. The FAO encourages national celebrations and announces an annual global theme. In 2025, the theme is Healthy Soils for Healthy Cities.
In Denmark, the day will be celebrated in 2025 on Thursday, 4 December from 09:30 to 15:30 at the University of Copenhagen, featuring a series of insightful presentations on the topic.
Aarhus University is a co-organiser of the event.
