We are pleased to invite you to a Workshop on interdisciplinary collaborations in TECH for strengthening science-based advice.

The reassessment of science-based advice at TECH identified a need for improved and strengthened collaboration between departments and between disciplines. This requires strengthened research collaboration and improved development and use of research infrastructure across departments.  The workshop will bring us together to discuss how we can strengthen this collaboration in practice, share perspectives, and identify opportunities and barriers to closer collaboration across departments and disciplines.

The thematic areas for the conference are:

  • Policy support databases (focus on cross-disciplinary databases)
  • Nature management (including rewilding and animal welfare)
  • Soil health
  • Remote sensing, drones, sensors etc.
  • eDNA
  • Emissions from agriculture
  • Food and health (including plant-based and novel foods)
  • Biodiversity (including indicators and metrics)
