EMBL & EMBO opportunities for the Danish research communities

DANEMO has now officially moved to the University of Copenhagen, where it will be located for the next two years. News has just been released about EMBL and EMBO, including EMBL's international PhD program, which offers the opportunity to obtain a PhD degree at some of the most prestigious research institutions in Europe. You can also read about the EMBO Young Investigator program, which offers support for setting up laboratories, provides valuable networking opportunities, training and mentoring schemes.

EMBL and EMBO offer a wide range of funding instruments for researchers at every stage of their careers - from bachelor students to established scientists. EMBO Young Investigator Programme

The EMBO Young Investigator Programme supports life scientists who have been group leaders for less than four years at the time of application in setting up their laboratories. Young Investigators receive financial support for networking for four years and benefit from training opportunities, support for their lab members and mentoring.

EMBL International PhD-programme

The EMBL International PhD Programme (EIPP) provides students with an excellent starting platform for a successful career by fostering early independence and interdisciplinary training. EIPP provides interdisciplinary training, maintaining a careful balance between theory and practice, close mentoring and creative freedom, collaborative teamwork and independence.

DANEMO Fellowships for Collaborative Work

The fellowships are strategic funds for stimulating and establishing new contacts to EMBL groups and enhancing knowledge of EMBL and EMBO and the possibilities that the Danish EMBL membership entails, with focus on the new research areas under EMBL’s scientific programme "Molecules to Ecosystems"

EMBO New Venture Fellowships

EMBO New Venture Fellowship support early career scientists, in any field of life science research, who would use this opportunity to enter a new field of research. The intention of these fellowships is to support high quality candidates to explore feasible projects or generate preliminary data to help transform their research trajectory.
