Extended and expanded collaboration with statisticians
AGRO is extending and expanding its collaboration with the Department of Mathematics with regard to assistance related to statistical questions and tasks.
Are your data giving you grey hairs? There is help to be had from professional statisticians – and this is the case for small as well as large problems and tasks. AGRO has an agreement with the Applied Statistics Laboratory (ASL) at the Department of Mathematics and that agreement will now be extended and expanded.
The agreement means that scientists from AGRO can use the statisticians from ASL for a number of tasks that range from short answers to consultancy, teaching and project participation.
The agreement includes the following activities:
- Advice regarding statistical questions
- Short ad hoc internal projects
- Participation of statisticians in research projects and applications
- Courses, workshops and other training activities for Master and PhD students, postdocs and scientists
The agreement is valid for 2016 and 2017 and means that the assistance is now 6 month for a senior scientist and two half postdocs.

In Flakkebjerg Bende Astrup is responsible for booking consultations and in Foulum it is Anna Dorthe Østergaard. In Foulum Rodrigo will get an office downstairs PV22 where consultation will take place.
