Ideas for a green and sustainable research centre

At AU Viborg - Research Foulum we, among other things, work for a green conversion in agricultural and food production. But just how green are we actually?

Can we improve our handling and recycling of waste? Do our outdoor areas support biodiversity? Can we reduce the climate impact from buildings and transport? Could it be made possible to buy more climate-friendly food in the canteen?

Many colleagues express that we should do much better. On this background, a sustainability committee has been set up to provide inspiration and proposals for further efforts.

One of our first initiatives is to invite AU Green to give a status for work efforts in relation to AU's climate strategy as well as the work on sustainability at AU in general. Read more at https://medarbejdere.au.dk/baeredygtighed/aus-groenne-netvaerk
