If you get ill
Guidelines on how to behave in relation to COVID-19 in AGRO
Ill – without any COVID-19 symptoms
If you are ill but don’t have any COVID-19 symptoms, you must report this to your usual colleagues no later than 09:00 on your first day of illness.
You must stay at home until you are symptom-free.
Your absence must be registered as “sygdom/sickness” in ProMark.
Ill – with COVID-19 symptoms
If you are ill with symptoms of COVID-19, you must report this to Birgit Langvad (Foulum) or Sonja Graugaard (Flakkebjerg) no later than 09:00 on your first day of illness.
Your must do as follows:
- Stay at home (self-isolation)
- Book a time for a COVID-19 test
- Report the names of the colleagues with whom you have been in contact, which office you have worked in and which other rooms you have been in during the past 4 days.
- Inform Birgit Langvad/Sonja Graugaard about your appointment for a test and about the result – both negative and positive.
If the test is negative, you can return to work when you are well.
If the test is positive, you must:
- Self-isolate and follow the guidelines on

- You will be contacted by The Danish Patient Safety Authority’s Contact Tracking, or you can contact the authorities on tel. 32320511.
- Inform Birgit Langvad/Sonja Graugaard about when you are expected to be fit to return to work.
Birgit Langvad/Sonja Graugaard will record the cause of absence in ProMark as “COVID-19” from your first day of absence.
When Birgit Langvad/Sonja Graugaard have been informed that an employee has COVID-19 symptoms but the result of the test is not available yet:
- The relevant colleagues and their immediate superior will be informed that their colleague may be infected with COVID-19 and therefore asked to
- Be aware of any COVID-19 symptoms
- Be extra careful of following the guidelines regarding social distancing and disinfection.
At this stage, close colleagues may continue to work at their place of work.
When Birgit Langvad/Sonja Graugaard know the result of the test, the following will happen:
Negative
Closest colleagues will be informed.
Positive
Closest colleagues will be informed, and they must go home immediately and follow the procedure for testing and self-isolation until they have received the result of the test.
- Closest colleagues must check the page http://sst.dk and seek information about close contacts.
Birgit Langvad/Sonja Graugaard will inform AU emergency group.
If you have been tested positive, you may not return to AGRO until
- You have been symptom-free for 48 hours
- If you haven’t had any symptoms, you must work from home until you have a negative test result.
If several employees are tested positive of COVID-19, the head of the department may decide that all employees must work from home and be tested. When the employees have a negative test result, they may return to their place of work.
