INCREASED FOCUS ON ORCID

AU Library carries out the task of making researchers aware of the option to obtain an ORCID ID, as well as the benefits of having one. This may give rise to more ORCID-related questions locally around the university. In near future, researchers affiliated with BSS is on target for this effort.

There are three important things to remember when it comes to ORCID in the context of Pure:
1. Sync is only from Pure to ORCID - not the other way around
2. Controlling sync from Pure to ORCID is done from the ORCID profile - not from Pure.
3. Once the ORCID ID has been associated in Pure, the ORCID ID is automatically displayed on The personal AU homepage.
