Join AGRO Experimental Design Days 2025
AU Viborg invites all researchers and technicians to participate in AGRO Experimental Design Days, taking place on February 27-28, 2025, in the Auditorium. This two-day event is dedicated to providing new insights and fostering discussions on designing statistically robust yet practically feasible experiments in the field.
An Event for Researchers and Technicians
AGRO Experimental Design Days targets researchers who design experiments and field and lab technicians who carry out the practical work. The aim is to explore various possibilities for modern experimental designs and review how best to treat well-established experiments.
The Program
The event will feature lectures from external speakers on the statistical aspects of experimental design. Additionally, there will be interactive workshops with discussion groups on our current and future experiments.
We are proud to present two renowned experts who will share their knowledge and experiences:
- Professor Hans-Peter Piepho, Director of the Biostatistics Department at the University of Hohenheim. Professor Piepho is a leading expert in statistical methods for plant sciences, focusing on experimental design, genomic prediction, and spatial analysis.
- Dr. Andrew Mead, Statistician at Rothamsted Research. Dr. Mead brings extensive experience in statistical modeling, multivariate analysis, and the application of statistics to various biological disciplines, including agriculture and ecology.
