Join the international plant health video contest
Are you an early-career researcher passionate about plant health? Here’s your chance to participate in the Plant Health TV - Promoting the importance of plant health research video contest, organized by the Euphresco III network, CIHEAM Bari, the Plant Biosecurity Research Initiative (PBRI), and CABI.
The contest aims to increase visibility for plant health research, raise awareness among non-expert audiences, and celebrate the contributions of young researchers. The winning video will be showcased at international events, including the 2025 International Day of Plant Health and the MPU2025 Congress.
Who can participate? The contest is open to early-career researchers (up to 35 years old), including MSc, PhD, and postdoctoral fellows working on quarantine pests of priority importance for any country or region.
Prize The winner will receive a two-week fully funded research internship in Australia, India, or Italy, sponsored by PBRI-Australia, CIHEAM Bari, and the Euphresco III project.
How to participate? Create a creative, high-quality 90-second video in English (with subtitles) explaining your plant health research. Upload the video to YouTube and submit an Expression of Interest to the Secretariat.
