Competition about alternative protein solutions
An international competition for PhD, master and bachelor students regarding alternative protein solutions has been launched.
Students with innovative ideas as to how the global population can be fed with sustainable protein, and how the ideas can be turned into well thought through business plans, are encouraged to participate in the international competition ”WUR Student Challenge: ReThink Protein”. The solutions can include new protein sources, protein-rich products, technological solutions, business models for farmers or social interventions regarding e.g. consumer behaviour. The competition is open for PhD, master and bachelor students. The deadline for signing up for the competition is 10 March 2019. Read more about ReThink Protein Challenge here.
