New agreements about Open Access publishing
The Royal Danish Library’s national licensing consortium has on behalf of the Danish universities and other research institutions entered three new agreements with Springer, Cambridge University Press (CUP), and Institute of Physics Publishing (IOP), respectively.
These agreements allow researchers at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital to publish Open Access (OA) for free in a number of journals (in total about 2500 journals). The Springer- and CUP-agreements include only the so-called hybrid journals, while the IOP-agreement includes both hybrid and genuine OA-journals (Gold OA). Besides, all three agreements require that corresponding author must be affiliated with AU (or one of the other Danish participating institutions).
