New template for making a PhD finance plan
Since Tech has transitioned to ongoing admissions to its graduate school, we at Nat-Tech Finance have decided to no longer use the database "Erna" to manage the financing plans of PhD students.
However, we still need to ensure that a financing plan has been finalised before the PhD student is admitted, and the attached financing plan must therefore be used in the future. The financing plan is also available on the Nat-Tech Finance website: Ph.d. finansieringsplan (TECH) (au.dk)
Information contained in the financing plan is used, among other things, by Statistics Denmark, for budgeting as well as verification of whether the PhD student is entitled to a bonus in accordance with the Tech bonus model.
The financing plan must be completed by the project manager/supervisor in collaboration with the project finance administrator, after which it must be approved by the head of department or another authorised employee. The project manager/supervisor then submits the financing plan and the project description to GSTS, the project finance administrator and the chair of the PhD committee at the department.
