OA publication under the Elsevier agreement
There exists some confusion regarding OA publication in connection with the new Elsevier agreement.
In order to ensure the full economic benefits in connection with the agreement on Open Access publishing, it is important that researchers use their AU mail.
The publisher is experiencing that a number of researchers are using their personal emails when contacting Elsevier. This makes it difficult to verify that they have obtained the correct benefits in accordance with the agreement.
Below is a description of what to do when your article has been accepted for publication by Elsevier.
___________________________________________
Once your research article has been accepted for publication, it is important that you choose your institutional affiliation with your corresponding email address so that you can publish under Elsevier's Open Access terms. The agreement covers articles submitted from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2024.
Use your institutional email as the corresponding author from an affiliated institution covered by the agreement.
Choose Gold OA to publish your article with no publication fee.
Choose a CC-BY license.
