As was the case last year, this year it will also be possible to invite PhD graduates to a Marie Curie Master Class. This time it will be held 16-18 May 2017. Deadline for application to the Master Class is 1 February 2017.

This scheme provides an opportunity to get hold of some of the talented PhD graduates that have left AGRO.

The Master Class programme is in many ways like a mini-screening grant. If there is a positive match, then the idea is to get the graduate here with the aid of Individual Fellowships (two-year postdocs) under the Marie Curie programme.

The target group is young researchers abroad or researchers that are here in Denmark, and who would like to qualify themselves in a strong researcher group. The young scientists must be PhDs, and must not have been here for more than 12 months in the past three years as per 14 September 2017. Scientists that have worked outside the EU, and who are applying through the EU’s Reintegration Panel, may not have been in Denmark for more than three years in the past five years.

Each department can have a maximum of four European graduates and one non-European graduate in the Master Class. If more participants are desired then the department must pay.

The schedule is the following:

1 February 2017: Deadline for application to the department (applications must be approved by the department).

15 February 2017: Graduate proposals from AGRO to ST

16-18 May 2017: Marie Sk?odowska-Curie Master Class

14 September 2017: Deadline for Marie Curie - Individual Fellowships applications

Spring/summer 2018: Postdoc employment begins
