Protection of personal data – and your role
As an employee in AGRO you play an important role in protecting people's personal data. Here are some tips.
Tidy up and throw away in a responsible manner among your documents, emails and other things that contain personal information. This is the message of the new data protection law that comes into effect May 25, 2018. All employees in AGRO are responsible for familiarising themselves with and following the rules - and that includes you.
Project applications that include CV's from colleagues, emails with sick leave information, or emails or printed documents that for one reason or another contain CPR numbers or other personal information are not allowed to remain on your computer or your desk, in your drawer or your cupboard, when you no longer need them for a current task.
Most of us will therefore be pretty busy tidying up – and if we aim to follow the rules it must be done before May 25, 2018.
