Remember to sign up for the agroecology course!
"What’s your definition of agroecology? We all want to hear it, says a group of junior researchers to their colleagues in AGRO.
Earlier this year a group of junior researchers from the department came together to debate the meaning of agroecology and discuss how we can better integrate this concept into the different approaches we all use in our day-to-day research.
This amazing bottom-up initiative from our peers will culminate in the Course on Agroecology – coming up 3 and 4 September.
This course is a great opportunity for all the juniors in the department to become a part of the discussion because ideas and input matter! The concept of agroecology and our common approach to it as junior researchers can only evolve if we all contribute.
And all contributions matter!
During the 2-day course in Aarhus, there will be a social event for all attending participants. This gives you a unique opportunity to get to know your colleagues from Foulum and Flakkebjerg, as well as to explore the amazing city of Aarhus.
Meals and the overnight stays will be included, so all your focus can be directed towards debating and learning about an exciting theme and enjoying your downtime.
We are hard at work on planning the social event and the sign-up links are on the way, so keep an eye out for an email from us soon.
We promise this one will be one to remember!
And we are, of course, open to all suggestions, so please contact us at bonnie.averbuch@agro.au.dk in the Course on Agroecology Social Event Planning Committee if you have any ideas!
