Taking its starting point in the Soil Monitoring and Resilience law proposal (Proposal for a Directive on Soil Monitoring and Resilience (europa.eu) ), we will take this opportunity to discuss various elements of this law proposal and its implications on our research. The following topics are especially in focus:
- Soil descriptors
- Soil Districts: Set up, monitoring methods and impact for landowners/stakeholders
- Voluntary certification schemes
The main takeaway of this event is a better understanding of the ramifications of the proposed law and where research will be able to support its delivery.
