Special offer for your thesis students: MONEY
As a supervisor you can lead your master students and yourself in the right direction by, for example, applying for a scholarship that can boost the thesis to new heights.
If your master students' thesis could benefit from extra support in the form of a period in a research environment abroad, use of special equipment, expensive analyses, field work or popular science promotion of their results, then you can tell the students that there are good chances.
Master students at ST in the area of agricultural sciences and wildlife science can apply for the scholarship Fonden Frands Christian Frantsens Legat, which will give grants from 15,000 to 25.000 kr. in April 2017.
Among the members of the fund's three board members is professor Bent Tolstrup Christensen from AGRO and he encourages supervisors to make their students aware of this possibility.
- There are good chances for being awarded a grant. In fact, we have until now not had enough applicants. I would therefore recommend supervisors to contact their students to have a talk with them about how these funds might be used in connection with their thesis.
