Start of the semester is coming up - welcome to AU Viborg!

This year, we have offered a total of 120 study places across three degree programmes:

• Veterinary medicine: 57 study places

• Animal Science: 53 study places

• Plant and Food Science: 10 study places

It’s not only the lecturers and programme coordinators who are looking forward to the start of the semester – the tutor association VITA, consisting of 17 AU Viborg students, is also excited. VITA has prepared an engaging three-day introduction programme. New students can look forward to activities such as name games, a campus tour, and presentations from senior students sharing their experiences of university life. In addition, Dean Eskild Holm Nielsen and the heads of department will be present to officially welcome the new students.

Activities on Wednesday and Thursday will take place at AU Viborg, so we can expect a busy main entrance and lots of eager new faces around campus. On Friday 22 August, the activities will move into Viborg, where students will enjoy brunch at the Student House, take part in an orienteering race, and end the day with a party in the evening. Teaching begins on Monday 25 August for all three programmes. We look forward to seeing the campus filled with curious students, ready to embark on a new chapter!
