The webinar concerned safety on re-entry into fields at Agroecology.

LAMU and senior scientist Peter K. Jensen have during the past two years worked purposefully on two internal occupational health projects. 

The purpose has been to examine the risks of pesticide impact on staff in connection with re-entry into fields that are sprayed with pesticides. 

Data from the trials show that there is a risk of exposure to pesticides during coming and going in fields. Legs, arms and hands are particularly exposed. 

At the webinar you will get information about the data from the internal projects and information about the new guidelines on use on personal protective equipment.

Requirements on use of personal protective equipment will apply to all employees, students and guests.
