The period between two deans
From 15 February 2019 until a decision is taken regarding the new management and organisation of ST, Lars Henrik Andersen will be the acting dean. In AGRO work continues as usual.
Professor Lars Henrik Andersen, Departmet of Physics and Astronomy, has been appointed acting dean for ST with effect from 15 February 2019. This was the message that was sent to all staff in ST via ST's newsletter on Friday, 8 February. Lars Henrik Andersen will lead the faculty until it is possibly split in two and a new management is in place - probably by the end of 2019.
The question is whether the changes will affect AGRO here and now.
- The appointment of an acting dean and the possibility of splitting ST up in two parts will not affect our everyday life in AGRO here and now. We will continue as before. This applies not least to the ongoing process regarding a self-evaluation of and strategy for AGRO, which is well on track. It also applies very much to our efforts to optimise management of our finances, says Erik Steen Kristensen, who is already acquainted with the acting dean.
- I know Lars Henrik Andersen as a talented and competent leader. I am certain that we will have good collaboraiton with him, says Erik Steen Kristensen.
Rector Brian Bech Nielsen and acting dean Lars Henrik Andersen will hold an ST staff meeting on 19 February 2019 from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm in the Aula at AU. The meeting will be streamed to Foulum and Flakkebjerg.
