The university’s budget for 2017-2019 must be tightly controlled to reach the goal
The hunt is on for possible ways to increase income and reduce costs at Aarhus University. Good ideas are welcome from all.
According to ST’s budget for 2017-2019 there will be a reduction in income in the order of about DKK 150 mill. in 2019 out of a turnover of approximately DKK 2.7 bill. The faculty must therefore explore the possibilities for increasing its income and reducing its costs. The dean would like to see proposals in this regard from section heads, LSU/Department Forum and all other staff.
In the Department of Agroecology we will hold a meeting about the topic in LSU/Department Forum on 3 March 2016. You are welcome to send your proposals for savings and increased income to your representative and/or Erik Steen Kristensen.
