Important information about holidays
It is associated with some financial risk if you go on holidays abroad (except Germany, Norway and Iceland)
AU can not prevent employees from holidaying in an area where the Foreign Ministry advises against unnecessary travel. But keep an eye on information on the pages about corona information.
Especially about going abroad is stated that if an employee travels to an area to which Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark’s travel advisory applies you should be aware of the following:
a) Mandatory self-isolation for fourteen days after returning from these areas (as a general rule without pay, unless the employee can work from home during this period).
b) If the employee contracts the coronavirus/COVID-19, this will be considered self-inflicted illness. In this situation, absence from work due to illness will be considered lawful as a general rule, but the employee will not be entitled to pay during illness.
