What is on display in the Church Hall?
Visit the exhibition “From Field to Construction” in the Church Hall over the next 3 weeks. The exhibition is about the project of the same name, which evaluates the significance of biogenic materials for the construction industry’s planetary boundaries, based on the work of an interdisciplinary group of researchers from agriculture and construction, food experts, craftsmen, architects, and practitioners.
We are pleased to present the exhibition “From Field to Construction – Evaluating the Significance of Biogenic Materials for the Construction Industry’s Planetary Boundaries.” This exciting exhibition explores how agriculture, food, and construction can collaborate to achieve significant environmental and climate benefits.
The project “From Field to Construction” brings together an interdisciplinary project group that investigates the potential for green transition through collaboration between agriculture, food production, and construction. The exhibition shows how we can reduce our environmental footprint and contribute to a sustainable future by using regenerative biogenic building materials and plant-based foods.
Highlights of the exhibition:
- Potential for CO2 reduction
- Development of methods for evaluating and selecting crops with regards to the planetary boundaries
- Methods for evaluating and selecting crops
- New biomass fractions and their applications
- LivingLab with Restaurant Moment as a living laboratory
Come and experience the innovative solutions and be inspired by how we can create a sustainable future together. The exhibition is open in the Church Hall at AU Viborg for the next three weeks. But bring along someone who can read Danish as the exhibition signs are en Danish only, or reach out to Emil Dahl Nielsen, who can tell you a lot about the project.
