BII Summer School 2022
In mid-August, BioInnovation Institute is hosting once more a Summer School in collaboration with CBS Executive.
It is a great opportunity for bright researchers from all of Europe to learn how to take research from lab to market and get a taste of entrepreneurship. The program encompasses both theory and practice. Each day will focus on a specific topic area and gives an overview of the key aspects of commercialization:
Day 1: What drives innovation
Day 2: Understanding your key stakeholders
Day 3: Building a competitive advantage
Day 4: Testing the value of your invention
Day 5: Pitching and wrap-up
Our CEO Jens Nielsen will be presenting himself. Speakers also include Palle Høy Jakobsen from CBS, industry representatives such as Steffen Nielsen from Coloplast and Lene Sprøgel from Novo Nordisk, experienced BII business developers, patent attorneys, VCs (Eir Ventures, PreSeed Ventures), start-up and life science researchers. Strong emphasis will be on casework to immediately help apply these learnings.
The Summer School takes place at the BII from 15-19 August and is now open for applications. Acceptance is on a rolling basis, so we would encourage you to apply soon. The final application deadline is June 5th.
