Application opportunities 2022
AUFF and the Innovationfund Denmark have published their financial instruments for 2022.
AUFF
The Board of the Aarhus University Research Foundation has now arrived at a decision regarding next year’s grant budget. In brief, the Board has decided to redefine the AUFF Starting Grant in 2022, turning it into the AUFF Recruitment Grant. This is done to strengthen the strategic recruitment of Danish as well as international research talents and to strengthen the growth segment and the strong research ideas.
AUFF NOVA will continue in 2022, and the grant will target existing AU employees, who can apply for DKK 500,000 for minor projects, though the Foundation will also distribute a few grants of up to DKK 2 million.
These weeks, the Grant Committee is doing a “road show”, where it presents the 2022 financial instruments at faculty meetings throughout AU. The instruments are also described below.
Innovation Fund Denmark
The political agreement 'Distribution of the research reserve 2022' involves a thematisation of Innovation Fund Denmark's funds. This means that in 2022 Innovation Fund Denmark can support research and innovation projects within the following three themes:
- Green research, technology development and innovation
- Life science, health and welfare technology
- Strategic and challenge-driven research and innovation in new technologies
