CORONAVIRUS: AU is following the advice of the Danish Public Health Authorities
There is concern that the new coronavirus that recently broke out in China might spread to Denmark. AU encourages all employees to monitor updates from the relevant authorities.
Aarhus University is closely monitoring the Danish government’s latest information and advice about the coronavirus.
According to the Danish Health and Medicines Authority, the risk of a coronavirus outbreak in Denmark is low. The Danish Health and Medicines Authority does not advise any special precautions in relation to people who have travelled in China, and recommends testing for the virus only if there is a specific reason to suspect that someone has been exposed to it. However, the authority is keeping a close eye on the situation, and has organised the necessary emergency response measures.
