How to handle guests and foreign employees at AGRO
AU is extremely restrictive regarding external guests in the university buildings. It must therefore be emphasised that AGRO only allows a limited number of external guests in our buildings.
Meetings must have a pressing need for it to take place at Foulum or Flakkebjerg, it could for example be a meeting with grantors or possible future partners. Meeting catering can be ordered in the canteen and delivered in individual portions to the meeting room. Remember to inform the external guest about AGRO's Covid-19 guidelines before the meeting.
We encourage the use of virtual meetings, they worked well during the lockdown this spring, and is easy to continue using.
AU students are considered internal and they have full access to our buildings. Foreign guest students and newly hired foreign employees must be quarantined for 14 days before starting at AGRO. However, the period can be shortened by presenting a negative corona test from arrival in Denmark, self-isolation 4 days and then a new test is performed, which must also be negative. PhD defense is held without external participation, that means they are held partly online so that outsiders can follow the defense. Family, friends etc. do not have access to the buildings. This also applies to all other social gatherings.
Courses with external participation from abroad follow the guidelines for guest students described above.
Demonstration of field trials to external guests is permitted as long as guests do not enter the buildings.
Craftsmen have access to all of AGRO's buildings to the extent required.
