New holiday year
Mini holiday year from May to August, read more about what consequenses it has for you.
We have now entered into a new holiday year, and it is time to plan when you will take your holidays and special holidays for the mini holiday year starting 1st May - 31st August 2020.
From 1st September 2020, we will all be transferred to concurrent holiday, where you earn 2.08 holidays per month - and you may take your holidays gradually as you earn them.
Above means that all colleagues (if employed for the entire year of 2019 and working 5 days per week) have received 16.64 holidays + 5 special holidays in ProMark - which is correct. If you have not been employed the entire year of 2019, or you have weekly days off, the number of holidays received in ProMark will be correspondingly fewer.
When you plan your holidays, you need to enter into a dialogue with your immediate manager and the colleagues you collaborate with. If you fail to register the scheduled holidays in ProMark, the holidays will be registered administratively according to our AU standard: https://medarbejdere.au.dk/administration/hr/ferie/afvikling-af-feriedage-og-saerlige-feriedage/.
Please find attached a holiday overview where you can read and learn how you earn holidays and how to take your holidays, before we all transfer to concurrent holiday. For further information, kindly read about concurrent holiday here: https://medarbejdere.au.dk/administration/hr/ferie/nye-ferieregler-pr-1-september-2020/.
If your employment is ending before the 1st September you will soon be contacted in relation to holiday notification.
