Notes from the SeniorVIP meeting at Flakkebjerg on 2-3 November 2016
The SeniorVIP meeting in Flakkebjerg included various presentations about staff and administrative issues.
Information regarding MARK, SDD, onboarding, degree progranmmes and visibility of the flagships were presented at the SeniorVIP meeting in Flakkebjerg.
Changes in MARK
Erik Steen Kristensen announced that Section manager in MARK Karen Eberhardt Henriksen will take early retirement as from 1 February, 2017. This will lead to a restructuring of the management function in MARK. The section will be divided into three units with three managers: Foulum (Jens Bonderup Kjeldsen), Southern Jutland (Henning Carlo Thomsen) and Flakkebjerg. The position at Flakkebjerg will be advertised shortly. The three managers will take turns at participating in the meetings of the department management team.
The Jyndevad soils, of which 60 ha will be let, will be transferred administratively to Askov. By the end of 2017 no staff members will be based at Jyndevad. The income from the land rent will be used to rent more soil at Foulum and Flakkebjerg.
SDD on the agenda
Joachim Langagergaard from Musskema.dk gave a presentation of the idea behind Staff Development Dialogues (SDDs). You can read more about their concept at musskema.dk.
Structured welcome for new employees
Karina Rysholt Christensen informed about the concept of ”onboarding”, which deals with offering a welcome to new employees even before they enter the door and with a follow-up so that they feel that they are fully valid flock members of their group and section. News from the education front

Visual profiling of the flagships
The two flagships Sustainable Pest Management and Climate-Smart Agri-Food Systems have been launched. Janne Hansen informed about the communication plans for the two flagships.
