The annual revision of the quality management system is now in place, so that the overall system is now available in version 7.

The revised procedures and appendices have replaced the previous ones, and as usual, the system can be accessed here from: https://tech.au.dk/en/consultancy/about-public-sector-consultancy/quality-assurance/quality-management-system. The revised system will take from Tuesday, May 3, 2022. All substantially new text is highlighted with grey.

The most important adjustments to the system are:

→      New focus on impartiality and conflicts of interest when organising a project group and appointing an internal peer assessor (Procedure 3 (2.1.) and Procedure 9 (2.)).

→      The description of the internal peer assessment process has been simplified and the possibility of peer assessment directly in the product has been maintained; however, for comments where the peer assessor wants to see the handling of these, the comments must be given in a separate commentary document (Procedure 7 (2.1)). This also applies to comments from the centre unit (Procedure 7 (2.2))

→      The evaluation of subcontractors and partners has been simplified (Procedure 5 (2.3))

→      The process for the centre unit's quality assurance is now more in line with the internal peer assessment process (Procedure 7 (2.2))

→      Extended and adjusted description of quality assurance of models (Procedure 6 (2.3.5., Appendix 4) and procedure 7 (2.3)) after processing in MBU's Working Group for quality assurance of models.

→      Addition to make ministries aware of non-ministerial tasks that may be relevant to ministries (Procedure 6 (2.3.8))

→      More guiding texts on tasks covered by the system (Main document (1.6), Procedures 1 and 2)

In addition, a number of explanatory clarifications have been added, e.g. about composing the strongest team (Procedure 1 and 2), about GDPR (Procedure 7),

There are also a number of minor adjustments, explanatory clarifications, consequential corrections, etc. in Procedures 1, 2, 5, 6, 8 and 9, Annexes B, D and I and in the Main Document (Quality Management System…), as well as simplifications in Procedure 9.
