The Secretariat is responsible for the core administrative functions that ensure strong day-to-day operations and continuous development at the Department of Agroecology. We work across disciplines and often act as the connecting hub, linking activities within recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, research communication, internal and external communication, project management, funding, event planning, educational development, data management, and information security.
We continuously optimise and develop workflows and processes to support the institute, and through our specialised expertise, we help ensure that AGRO remains a dynamic and attractive research environment. By focusing on efficient processes, we support both daily operations and long-term strategic initiatives.
Each section has an administrative coordinator who supports the section on a daily basis—ensuring office facilities, managing onboarding and offboarding of staff, assisting with events, and supporting the section head.
The team works across all HR-related areas and is also responsible for operating the canteen in Flakkebjerg.
The team supports researchers in the pre-award phase for both national and international funding applications. The team also manages and develops PlanDisc on the intranet, providing researchers with up-to-date information on funding opportunities, call guidelines, and processes.
