Hourly paid employment in AGRO – procedure and deadlines

At AGRO, we aim to ensure that hourly paid employees receive the correct salary on time. This procedure outlines the process for hourly pay, so it is clear who does what – and when.

1. Hourly paid employee: complete and submit timesheet

The hourly paid employee must no later than the 2nd working day of the following month send the completed timesheet for the previous month to the head of operations/section/project via email.

Please note:

  • One timesheet must be completed per month – months must not be combined on the same form.
  • The timesheet must be completed using the Excel template available on the intranet under Forms.
  • The form automatically calculates hours per day and per month.
  • If more days are worked than can be included on one form, two forms must be submitted for the relevant month.

2. Manager: approve and forward

The manager adds the account string/project allocation and forwards the timesheet to hrbreve@agro.au.dk no later than the 10th of the month.

By forwarding the timesheet, the manager confirms that the reported hours have been worked.

3. Secretariat: control and register

The secretariat checks that:

  • the hours fall within the employment period
  • the total weekly hours do not exceed the employee’s contracted working hours

The hours are then entered into the hourly pay system.

Payment of salary

As a general rule, salary is paid at the end of the month in which the timesheet is received by the secretariat, provided it has been submitted on time.

If the timesheet is submitted late, payment will normally be made the following month.

Please note that delays may occur during holiday periods.
