AGRO department management has formed the committee, which refers to the Head of Department.
Data account for a very important and resource demanding part of AGRO, which is why continuous optimisation is key. Data handling is a central part of the individual researcher’s research integrity as well as the general commitment of the Department. The committee is tasked to support the Head of Department to ensure that the Department lives up to current rules on data management, data security, GDPR, and similar.

Committee members
Each research section appoints a member for the AGRO Data Management Committee, and the research stations may also be represented. Additional members can be added ad hoc as required.
Operation period
2 years at a time. Present period runs from 1 August 2023 – 31 July 2025.

The committee’s tasks are to take initiatives, prepare recommendations, and inform Head of Department on issues concerning data management in AGRO comprising:
Rules of procedure
The chairman/secretary will convene for 4 meetings per year and a record of decisions minutes will be drafted and sent out for approval before being uploaded to the AGRO Intranet.
ERDA/SIF - A new digital solution for research data will be available to AU researchers in late 2022
